social networking

It's been a long time...

Wow, it's been a minute since I last blogged something.  Why?  Because I've been incredibly busy.  Picked up a couple of new projects that I'm addicted to (I'll update my portfolio sooner or later) on the dreaded MySpace no less, and I'm investing a little bit of time thinking of starting a collective.  Thanks to Dan Rubin for that idea.  I've also joined a few groups around Atlanta via Meetup.com.  I think I have one to go to this Thursday * scratching head *.

On any note, incredibly busy.

blogging on the move

If this works, this is my first blog from a mobile device. Yes I purchased an iPhone, and am glad I did. I will be testing a few more clients before I decide on which to use. But so far, I believe this is the one. [Posted with iBlogger from my iPhone]

Too-Social Networking

Idling around at work, I caught this article on Time.com:

25 Things I Didn't Want to Know About You

I wholeheartedly agree with the author, and it reminds me of why I sometimes hate social networking.  Sure, I myself have a Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and LinkdIn account (and at least 2 user names on all those instant messaging protocols... and I won't even start with emails), but sometimes people are FAR too open and take the persona's they portray on these networks WAY too seriously.  I've even had a first hand taste of this now drama laced internet underground via MySpace.  In either case, if you aren't keeping things anonymous, please refrain from telling us what monkey's have done to you.  You never know who you know that's reading or who you work with is reading.
